Vendome Royal Gold

The Bracelets, Earrings and Pin offered here came from Providence, Rhode Island, U.S.A. Vendome was one of Coro's signature marks for its better grade production jewelry. Jewelry featured is "new old stock," meaning uncirculated, and as new as the day it left the plant in Rhode Island. Highly polished thick goldplated finish on pierce-worked cast with florentine nugget finish on back. Era made: 1960-1970, most likely. Modern revival of Victorian revival which was a revival of Victorian styles which were also revivals of earlier styles. The Paisley pattern and Scottish cross design hint at Queen Victoria's Tudor heritage.
