 Rosalyn Coral Shell Cameo This shell cameo appears to be executed somewhere around 1930 to judge from the profile. The hair style is Victorian but the face is not. Although cute this carving is not at the top of cameo carving quality which price reflects. Probably from Italy, brought home by a service man as a souvenir during WW II. Bullet-edge frame is marked at bottom back: 436 NA [extremely small] and 800 [= a gold designation in Europe] inside a cartouche [not much larger either]. Size: 1 1/8" H x 7/8" W
