Many individual manufacturing plants made the Ambassador pattern from its creation in 1919 until discontinued in 1973. Considered a higher-end quality silverplate pattern, as all of 1847 Rogers line is, the plants executed the handle pattern very uniformly. However, the utility blanks used depended on what the maker had available.
The lengths and widths, even weight and thickness, can therefore vary between issues. If you want replacement pieces to match yours please check the lengths of the styles available. Measuring your own pieces first to compare lengths with ours is therefore suggested. Follow the How to Measure link below. A tolerance of +/- 1/16" of a given length may apply on some styles.
