Reed & Barton Silver Plate Flatware |
The Tiger Lily and Festivity patterns are identical in floral handle design.
The only difference found so far is that the manufacturing makers of Tiger Lily used a slightly heavier alloy than the makers of Festivity did.
This is only noticeable if, f.ex., a teaspoon of each manufacture is held in hand to compare or weighed on a sensitive scale. The Tiger Lily teaspoon is slightly heavier.
Also, there are some older styles made in Tiger Lily that are not in the Festivity line. Notably a large shell shape Casserole or so called Berry Spoon was only made in Tiger Lily, not Festivity, and a few other older styles considered rare today.
There has been no attempt here to list separately the two issues of the same pattern. Both issues work well together.
