The Niagara Silver Co., New York, also known as 1877 Niagara Falls Co., was active from 1877 and as Niagara Silver Co. as of 1893. In 1901 the company was taken over by Wm. A. Rogers Ltd. that later became Oneida [Iron Age 1901]. Reference courtesy Silver Forums.
The Windsor pattern is one of the oldest patterns in the U.S. It may not have been made after 1904 when the Niagara Silver Co. no longer was in operation and its distinctive backstamp discontinued.
